The Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Makhlafi expressed his readiness to return to peace talks in order to bring an end to the suffering of the people in Yemen. However, he noted that the positive position of the government has not been met with a response from the revolutionaries who continue to refuse demands for peace and international efforts towards achieving it. The government went to Kuwait last year where they signed a draft agreement proposed by the UN envoy, but the other side did not sign it. Al Makhlafi expressed his appreciation and thanks to the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwait government for their efforts during the talks in Kuwait.
